No it's not. It's the exact opposite of "For The Win" which is structured in the way I defined. It's purpose, structure, and intent are identical to the examples I compared them to.

but how are you gonna say that "Going to lose" is gramatically the same sentence as "For the loss"

you need a noun. loss is the noun that makes the sentence gramatically correct.

lose is a verb, so its not gramatically correct.

It's a slang. In the end, grammatical corrections are irrelevant to their purpose. The "Win" in FTW is being used as a verb, not a noun. Just like in the line "Going To Win". Therefore, considering that FTL is the EXACT OPPOSITE of FTW, it too is to be used in it's verb form.
