    Default Attention: NEXTEL Employees

    I recently recieved a i860 from my girlfriend because she got a new one. It asks for a "special code" when i insert a SIM card. I do not have the slightest idea what that code is and neither does my gf. So if you could help me out that would be great. The code is 9 numbers/characters long.

    when i worked for nextel the codes you usually have to take and have unlocked. Go to the service center.

    thats weird...if she was using it before and simply put her sim card in her new phone, you should be able to put your sim card in the i860 you got from her and it should be working.

    Yea I think it might be a problem with the sim card they gave me...But thanks with the help.
