I could prolly fix them depending on wither or not I need parts. The parts for the 3490 / 3480 IBM tape drives are discontinued and coming up here in about a yr or so IBM will no longer support them. I fix the bitches all the time at work and I am only operator that the IBM guys will give directions to over the phone if I cant figure it out myself...Originally Posted by Infinite

The only issue that you might run into is hooking it up to a modern PC and being to able to have drivers and what not cas those things are designed for mainframes and old shit. I mean the damn things are state of the art 1985...
