    Default I think Black Friday is a racial day..what do you think?

    I mean why call it Black Friday? Is it because prices are cheap and black folks like that? Why they call it that shit? why couldnt it have been Sale Friday or some other shit?

    Not sure if this whole thread is just sarcasm or not, but the name Black Friday came from an accounting term. When stores are taking losses, they are said to be "in the red." When the numbers in the books go from red to black, they are making profits. Most stores make such huge profits on the Friday after Thanksgiving, it boosts most from red to black. Hence, Black Friday is really "boost us into the black Friday."

    I dont think that they should call it black friday, because black people like cheap prices...which I think everyone not just black people like cheap stuff...
