    Its the same thing as people who dont ride bikes, walking around in motorcycle jackets. If they like the look then they are going to wear it. I'd rather be wearing a nascar jacket, than those black south pole jackets that everyone was wearing a few years ago.

    Wearing a nascar jacket and not knowing anything about the sport is no different from wearing DC sports shoes and not skateboarding. People are like "why do blk ppl where those jackets? "Because a rapper did it?" Aha-fuckin-ha. Give me a fuckin break! Anybody see any dumbass white girls wearin some fuckin snow boots w/ mini skirts last SUMMER. WTF! Who popularized that you ask...Paris Hilton. Who gives a flyin fuck what you wear. People will wear what you tell them to. Obviously not directly, but indirectly via the media. So stop fucking acting so damn surprised when you see someone with a Nascar jacket and they have no knowledge of the sport, or when you see a girl with fuckin snow boots on and its 90 damn degrees outside or when you see someone with a t-shirt all the way down to there knees. At the end of the day it's simply a trend nothing more and nothing less. By the way, this thread is only like umm...6yrs late, seeing as how the trend of wearing Nascar Jackets started when I was in the damn 8th grade.

    Here are a few words that come to mind when I hear the word NASCAR.. Drunken, Moonshine, hillbilly, toothless, trailor park, inbred and mullet. I would never associate myself with that. NASCAR is beneath me.
