Every time a rapper or black celeb mentions or displays anything at all (whether it's white T's, grillz, gin and juice, 20-whatever rims, or any fashion line that's new or unusual (to them) it is automatically copied a million-fold by their fans all across this country, no matter what it may be.
Not only does this promote a "hood-rich" society, but also a lack of motivation as well as a child-like level of responsibility.

Pathetic as it may be, I see it's quite the norm.

I wonder what kind of new fashion trends and slang will come next.

i asked a guy who works with me why they wear them, i told him i know he doesnt watch nascar. here was his responce:
" well, nascar is for rednecks. ya know, thats who watches it. so its like we are taking something away from them, like they did us."
i laughed and asked who was "us" and he replied "black people"
i said ok well what do you mean they took something from you, you mean rap music? he responds "naw man, our freedom. with slavery"

i stood there for a second and was awestruck. so i had to make sure i understood. i go "so you wear a jacket from nascar because rednecks watch it and rednecks are the new age symbol of people who favor slavery"

most black young guys think its "hip" to dress/act like rappers do on BET, except of course.. they arent "ballers" so they resort to silver instead of platinum or whatever metal is "HOT" these days. its cable television that is at fault.. they made the "thug" look trendy.. its pathetic, but gives me something to laugh it, so i guess i cant bitch about it at all
