Steve Fanning is his name. Baseball star for Heritage HS. He married Joy Arrington. I grew up with Jow and her sister. They lived across the street from me for well over 15 years.

My encounters, besides myself, are with:

Otis Nixon, saw him at Lennox and just shook his hand

Along with Arrington, well over half the Atlanta Chiefs pro soccer team lived in my neighborhood. They taught me all soccer in their backyards.

Ate lunch with Sammy Sam the Hitman for several months each day. Also ate a couple of times with David Banner.

I've never met these guys, but I am a direct descendant of the second and sixth Presidents, John Adams and his son, John Quincy Adams.
