LoL, rep up to anyone who makes a post worth my reading...

Just give me something to think about other than this damn paper on "All Quiet on the Western Front". Been working on it several hours now, and I need a break. So...talk to me...anything...tell me a joke. I don't care. Just get my mind off this damn thing.

Once there was a couple of German infantry men. They sacrified their future because they were led to believe joining the army was the correct thing to do. They all die, including the main character, who literally falls forward and takes a dirt nap RIGHT as the war ends.

Extract 3 motifs from the book and write a 5 page paper.

Ahh. All Quiet On the Western front. I read that in tenth grade. I fucking hated it. I wish I could remember it so I could remind you of it...But I got nothing.

    Heres a tasteless joke.

Mongol, nah, it's basically writing a 3-5 page paper on whether the selection is a good portrayal of history...more or less...that's the shortened version anyways, LoL.

Hell yeah it is....shows the complete destruction of a generation of german youth....you could even draw parallels to the "Lost Generation" of American literature.....an whole age group changed how it looks at life, and that in turn changes how they act, setting the stage for a altogether different country.

The pride and fearlessness is shown frankly as it is destroyed with mortar shells......look at how they mock the new arrivals; not realizing that once they were caught up in the same glorious vision of war.

Keep in touch with me next semester when I go through english, LoL.

I used to be AWESOME at writing papers. Wrote two 5-page papers in one night for me and this chick. Got a B and a B+. Was tired as shit, but it was good. Now it seems I've always got writer's block...but I can edit papers like no other, and once i've got an idea rolling, I can run with it.

Bad news was I never got ass from writing that girls paper

i got a FUNNY JOKE for you!!!!

A very large, old, building was being torn down in Chicago to make room for a new skyscraper. Due to its proximity to other buildings it could not be imploded and had to be dismantled floor by floor. While working on the 49th floor, two construction workers found a skeleton in a small closet behind the elevator shaft. They decided that they should call the police.

When the police arrived they directed them to the closet and showed them the skeleton fully clothed and standing upright. They said "This could be Jimmy Hoffa or somebody really important".

Two days went by and the construction workers couldn't stand it any more, they had to know who they had found. They called the police and said: "We are the two guys who found the skeleton in the closet and we want to know if it was Jimmy Hoffa or somebody important".
