It's a personality test..lol. A lot of jobs, where social and personal maladjustment can play an issue needs to be evaluated. Such as public safety positions, CEOs, MD's, and etc. I know about the MMPI-2 is b/c I took one for the GRAD program I am in right now. Also, my brother took it for the FBI pre-req's. He graduated with a Psych. degree. All a psychologist is going to tell you is to be honest and answer the best you can. They can't really help you with how to answer during the interview. Go online and look for possible questions they may ask and practice with someone. I'm sure they will understand that there may be a language barrier. But again most cities are looking for diversity in public safety positions so being bi-lingual is plus.
