    Default Any good piano players?

    I dib an dab in a bit but I am not as good as i want. I was wondering if anyone knew any good teachers or if anyone could teach me. I want to be better with two hands so i can finish Listen to your heart and Carmen Suite no.1

    i use to play trumpet so i can read music okay. just piano chords i have difficulty with. i really want to get better becuase its one of my favorite things to do. i am just not good at it lol

    Ya I understand that one. One thing that a couple friends of mine have said helps is learning all the clefs and then going through and learning each chord and the different types. For example augmented, minor, major, etc. and then sit down and play the chords on the piano and practice scales all types and stuff. If you go to a college book store and pick up some music theory books it should help. I know alot of colleges also have quite a few private lesson teachers and they hook people up with.

    ooo which colleges! i really want to improve. and reading books never helped me. i need to be shown. i had a guitar chords book for about 2yrs now and guess what? i cant play a damn chord on my guitar lol

    Any college that has a music program... GSU I believe has one UGA NGCSU

    If you have heard of the school go see if they offer music classes on their website. Music is usually listed under liberal arts though.

    my dads a great paino player, so he taught me sum stuff, i enjoy it, and girls love it. i got a keyboard that i mess around with when im drunk or blazed...thats just fun.

    i can play the piano a little bit....i also can read alot of the music...being in band hel[ped lol..cause all the xylophone is, is a big piano you hit with drum sticks...
