    Yea I've wanted a Cosworth since seeing that beast in Getaway in Stockholm II (Good movie to find and DL). It basically kept up with a 800rwhp supra the entire 20-30+min of the video while ditching the cops from 10sec into the vid lmao!

    I'd probably import an original model Vitz. As much as I like the Yaris, it just doesn't have that mouse-like front end the original one has.

    theres a million cars id like to import but a couple of my favs:

    Rover coupe (n/a comes with a version of honda d16a6, easily swappable to b-series !) Also comes in turbo version stock.


    Honda CRX Glasstop (one of my fav all time cars)

    They really arent that bad. This thread is very hypothetical and the part keeping a majority of these cars from being registered here is federal crash testing so im assuming if you have fair game with any car it isnt being accounted for. It doesnt cost that much to buy a r32 and actually get in here. Getting it legal is another thing

    Nissan 300zx Convertible twin turbo (will soon have it)

    or MKIII (not MKIV) 5 speed, targa top, twin turbo. Had a chance to buy one out of canada but couldnt get it registered here.

    We had are own type of Cosworth Escort in the US.

    It was better but looked shittier.

    RS200

    They had 200 of the street version with I believe 250hp but the evo version that they made 24 of had around 580hp. They had one of the street version ones on ebay like 3 months back for 50k with less the 3k miles on it.

    well, they do make a whole turn-key as an import that I wouldn't mind owning.

    In a sense, the one I was talking about is importing a kit car. A whole completed car is ~70K imported.

    I think the car that I was must impressed with was the swedish made Ford Focus ST

    It basically has the S60 Volvo 5 cyc. Turbo motor in something the size of a ford focus. Neat car.
