The 350Z is not boosted from the factory, its engine is shared in every Nissan, from the Quest to Murano to Altima to FX 35 etc. The aftermarket boosted it.

Exactly. None of the Japanese tuning "legends" have come back here with a turbo.

RX7, Twin Turbo -> RX8, Non Turbo (granted, that engine is a pile of shit)

300Z, Twin Turbo -> 350Z, Non Turbo

Don't get me wrong, I love the 2JZ as much as anybody, but there is no way Toyota is going to bring back the Supra with a heavy ass iron block in the nose. Especially with all of the technology these days.

Which brings me to another point to ponder: Has anyone else noticed that manufacturers that were known for big turbo cars (Mazda, Nissan) have gone to N/A, and two of the masters of N/A (Honda, BMW) are now producing turbo cars? The times they are a changin, my friends.
