^^^i don't think so, most of the ppl buying now are hardcore ps3 folks, once it actually releases ppl are goin to want to hold out for slightly lower prices.

so if you go preorder are you GUARANTEED a PS3? or are you just guaranteed to get one when they have one in stock.

IE if a store is getting 10 units, BEFORE XMAS, will they presell 20? an the first 10 guys get theirs but the last 10 just have to wait

PS3 FTL. put that money toward your CAR, bills. or something else. its not worth that price maybe if it dropped down a hundred maybe 50. but after the system and a couple games your at 1k.

$500 to $600. depending on what hard drive you want. and the games are lik $80.
