You may be sinning according to the Bible, but you're not necessarily contradicting yourself. By quoting from the Bible and being Agnostic, you acknowledge that the Bible could very well be the ultimate authority when it comes to God's word. Then again, it also could be a load of self-righteous filler. By being Agnostic you acknowledge that there is something out there. Whether it be Allah, God, Buddha, or Xenu, you accept the fact that there is some life after death or some greater power. You're just not sure what. I accept the fact that Bible could be the ultimate truth, but I don't acknowledge it 100% because there are so many other possibilities.

It helps to open your horizons and realize that there are mediums in beliefs and that some people aren't extremist in one sense or the other. We're just waiting to see what lies at the bridge once we cross it.

I guess, but you might want to hurry up and figure out which one you believe. The end of days are not too far away.

haha, you do realize that to any sort of nonbeliever, that's the equivalent of saying to them "better make your christmas list soon, santa is coming in 2 months."

I suppose you're right, but to acknowledge something so controversial is rather difficult. I may be killed on the drive to class tonight, but I'll accept my fate if that's how it's played out.

Question on Christian Salvation: I was very religious when I was younger. I deeply and sincerely accepted Christ to be my savior and was firm in my resolve. However, since then I how fallen from faith and find myself quizzical on the subject. Now, at the time of salvation, I'm told that at that time of repentance, you are forgiven of past, present, and future sins. Does that mean that I am still acceptable in the eyes of God, even tho my faith is not what it used to be? Granted that my crown will not have the jewels promised to those of firm believers, but will I still walk thru the Gates of Heaven due to my sincere repentance at that one time? Just curious because now I'm not so sure.

I never said that. I provided the passage that described homosexuality as a basis for damnation. I'd never cast the first stone because I'm a pretty sinful guy.

It's says all those who repent shall be forgiven. But I can not answer your questions. I probably know as much as you do
