    Anyone know of a website or a program that gives you realtime AIM messenger so you dont have to use the text based program that comes on it? I have the new Blackberry 8700g

    Yeah cause I had it on the Windows Based MDA, so I know someone makes a live internet based AIM connection like what I had before. This text based shit sucks because you get the IM's all out of sequence

    1) blackberry 8700g isn't "new" anymore, the pearl owned us (even though we've still got the cool scroll wheel )

    2) go check out www.blackberryforums.com <~ everything u'll ever need can be found there.

    3) to be honest, none of the free AIM programs i have tried (RIM's and Ramble's) really worked at all for me, hope u have better luck though

    ^^^for ramble, in order to connect at all u have to make a few config changes in your network settings. i don't know the details, especially since i'm on tmobile and ur on cingular, but like i said, check the bbforums and use the search function, will get u a long ways.
