tryin to hook my 360 up a friends house, how do I change my IP so it will work without a router? Any help will help this is just redonkulous
I dont now how to do it with a 360, but you should just have to set the 360 on auto assign for the IP so that it will work directly with the modem.

Make sure you "like" the videos purdy please.
Take one of the controllers, and start with the end that plugs into the console. Hold the plug in your palm, close your hand around it and make a fist. Then wrap the cord around your fist 3 or 4 times leaving about a foot and a half of slack in the cord, then hold it above your head and swing it. As it builds momentum, lower your arm, and slap yourself in the face with the controller. Do this 10 times, and you shouldn't have anymore trouble with the IP thing

If he doesnt have a router then the 360 just has a straight line to the modem and the modem is plugged into the phone\cable right?
360 ----------- Modem --------- Wall (cable or phone)
