Oddly enough my family is/are considered immigrants even though we are legal and a lot of times treated the same...U cant tell from brown skin what a person is...
My father was working for all these independent plumbing businesses he eventually said fuck this...Now he owns his own, he uses immigrant works but pays them more than enough for the job they do, at times he ends up with the short end of the stick, but he also helps them get the naturalization process going and makes them apply for a Tax ID...

The reason why immigrants work for little is because they have no papers, they have no social security, so they know that they cant get a high paying job, because those usually require you have a social security and such.
