when you shoot a cannon in space strapped to the front of a moving space ship that is not under power the velocities of the cannon ball will be greater than that of thw ship but it will also slow the ship down...


there for light emited from headlights (energy) would slow down the spaceship enough so that the combined speed of the light would alow it to be visible if there was a median present... but since in space there is not a median present no you cannot see the lights... what happens when they turn the light on on the space ship now..... no median so no way of perceiving the light as visible....
