    Default Need advice on digital camera purchase

    I need some advice on a camera purchase for my girlfriend. She wants a new digital camera for Xmas.

    Here are her requirements:

    At least 5 megapixels
    Can fit in her purse (her purses are small)


    My requirements:

    Under $300
    Can take a clear picture even if the person's hands are shaky
    Good enough to take a nice picture of my cars

    Canon. They r the only company to own and build their cameras internally. Others r good canon is the best. I have a S70

    Vivitar V4000, great camera, takes great pics, 6 megapixels, decent price.

    Oh and I would also look at the Panasonic Lumix line of cameras. They have great equipment for that price range.
