I cant speak for him, but reason why I switched from computers is because its so damn saturated. My classes at DeVry were 60 thick, people didnt have enough desk. People automatically think of computers as the surefire way to get richOriginally Posted by ironchef

I would be considered "obsolete" now. I haven't followed up on the upgrading that is a part of computer technology. I graduated college in 1991(14 years ago). I had a job (of which I also interned with) at Bio-Lab in Avondale. They hired me on after I grad. I was making about $500/week parttime. But I had a family, 2 kids and a residence to pay for. I needed insurance. They couldn't give me fulltime, so they let me go so that I could find someone that could. I was like Damn. I had only 9 months invested there. I sent out resumes thinking my Dean's List education would get me on. NOPE. Everyone wanted experience. At least 3-5 years worth. During this time, I had to take fastfood, warehouse and jobs of that nature to pay for shit. Not keeping up with computers and their updates, made my education mostly all for naught. Oh well. You live and you learn. Later, QD.Originally Posted by ironchef
