Barely finished highschool, but for fear of my parents I slid by and got the paper. With no idea what I wanted to do, but talking to my cousin who was going back to school and decided on machine tool tech, I then registered for classes at the local tech school for machine tool tech. I didn't know if it was for me, but it was something to do and not too boring. I think I spent 2 years there, and had another half year to complete the course with optional CNC classes. A job working at a local body shop pretty much fell in my lap before I did the CNC classes, so I never even went back to take the graduation test.
