What's wrong with that? BMWs have it mounted on the floor for years, and actually, my Datsun 510 has it mounted on the floor. I dunno why it would be a big deal. I can go from my 4Runner to my 510 and don't have to "get used to" anything.
And turns out this blue one I took pics of wasn't ours. It was supposed to go over to Roswell Infiniti. Aparently when they dropped the Silver one off we have now they picked the blue one back up. I'm not sure how one would confuse that....maybe the truck driver was color blind?
