I live my life 1/4 of a mile at a time.....and for those 17 seconds or less, I am free!

Seriously though, the lugs on both my car and truck require about 96 ft-lbs or torque to put on/off. Is that more than the engines in question?

    JDM b16s make 135-140whp 105-110 TQ
USDM GSRs make 145-150whp and 115-120 TQ

Dont go by the FACTORY ratings, go by DYNO sheets, which i have dynoed TONS of sotck b16s an GSRs.

Thanks. I was just curious as I have never had to deal with those engines. Good info to know.

I never won any spelling bees

Horsepower looks good on paper, Torque wins races.
