I ride a bike... and its never gotten me a girl.
It helps a little bit (it will get you noticed faster), but when all is said and done. If you're a dweeb, then all bike does is make you a dweeb with a motorcycle.

Even though its nice of TokyoChick to try and hook her friend up... riding 2-up on a stranger's bike is NOT a good idea... much less through the mountains where people wreck REGULARLY.

Shit, I wouldn't even ride my bike in a group with strangers, much less as a passenger.

Niether TokyoChick nor the girl knows whether the guy has the skills, and temperament to be safe and cautious.... or even whether his tires/bike are in good condition for the trip. Its not like a car... all accidents on a bike are life threatening. Does she even have any gear to wear? Helmet, gloves, riding jacket, boots, riding pants (I'm guessing probably not).

Then there's the issue of what the guy is getting himself into. He hasn't met this girl and she might be looney tunes. If she's a bad enough passenger then she could cause an accident herself.

First rides should be on flat, surface streets... not mountain roads where narrow lanes, 50 foot drop-offs and decreasing radius turns are the norm.

Its just a really big risk to take for a 'hook up' that might not even happen
