Sidekick 3 vs MDA ( T-Mobile)

which one should i get, im leaning toward teh sidekick 3, i text msg alot so i need to choose between these 2

if you want word on your phone then get the MDA, but if you just are using it for text messaging then get the side kick 3..

But if you want I have an MDA sitting at the house, I will sell to ya ...

It was only used for about 4 months, no scratches...

Both are good, but trendy. I see a sidekick , I think about high school. The MDA is much cooler of the 2. But if you do not have to check on your emails all through the day or have your own business where the phone might really come in handy for certain information then dont get it.
You can send text messages with any phone.. If you see my girl typing a text message on her flip, you would say HOLLY SHIT..actually, Ive seen plenty of chics type away in there phones like is a regular keyboard.

Ill be like Clark howard, you dont need it for its full functions , dont get it or waste the cheese =]

thats true, i like the mda cause of teh slide away keyboard, but most of teh stuff on there i wont use, like microsoft word.
i've had teh sidekick 1 and 2, kind of bulky to me thats why i sold them, but teh sidekick 3 is much smaller and sleak.....thats why im thinkin of gettin it....ppreciate the input

I have word and excel on my phone and it comes in super handy to download shit I need at work. is cool shiz.

i own both and i prefer the sk3 over the mda just because the touchscreen is really annoying to use while dialing numbers...the sk3 has a much more comfortable keyboard

Do both have WiFi built in? And can they both be used as laptop modems? I'm thinking about getting one of them, and I need something that can do both, has bluetooth, and can run Skype.

the sk3 bluetooth sucks its only capable to connect with a headset you cant share anything with another phone

no like you know how on other phones you can send eachother like ringtones or pcitures through bluetooth well tmobile blocked it out for the sidekick so you cant get anything without paying for it

oh thats coo, i'll be spending about 500 bucks off bat on this, my friend at t mobile is hookin me up with it for like 180, then imma have to put some money down cause i have an outstanding bill with sprint, then the rest will be to put ringtones and call tones, i probably wont spend 500, but thats what i have to spend ona new phone

not much, i just listen to it when im working out ( an hours worth) or when im at work or bored, so i barely have time where i just sit around and can listen to music.
