    2) your vote doesn't even count for shit... you vote someone into office to vote for you...
    If you mean the electoral college, that's for President/Vice President only. All other elections are popular vote.

    If you mean for legislation.. if there was a vote for every single issue that comes along nothing would ever get done. Greece was a true democracy and it failed pretty badly. Republics work well but there is not enough accountability in ours and there need to be strict term limits, too.

    i understand that and you just restated my point.... your not actually voting on anything other then who is in office. which goes back to my point... i hate when people say YOU VOTE OF DIE; it doesn't matter b/c track record for voting basically stays the same... (example \/)
