It's really hard to say. I hate to insult you by saying maybe your eyes playing tricks on you in the dark, but you had someone else see it too. Possibly a reflection of something. Or, it could possibly have been an apparition. You should check up on the history of the house and find out if anything crazy happened in the house or on the property. Where is the house located?
