He did not deserve this, as no truely deserves death. Life is god's greatest gift and no one should truely deserve to loose it. May he rest in peace.

RIP :(
Does anyone know anything about the time, and date of the funeral?
Sae was nice guy.................... Dont really know what to say right now, In a state of total disbelief. I cant stop thinking about the rollercoaster drift rides he used to give me in that Little ass finishline parking lot, in the sc300. Me and my buddy Hector just went to see him wednesday. It is a lot to handle when you hear that someone has passed away, that you just saw not to long ago. Me and Sae were are both korean, and we joked about cultural things all the time, because we knew how hard it was for people of a different nationality to become successful in the States, for us, but especially for our parents. Sae was fortunate enough to do something that he truly loved. Some people talk alot of crap about his business dealings, but he was always backed up because he wanted to help so many people out. I mean really how many people were ever told by Sae that he counldn't help you out. And there is no possible way that you are going please everybody. When I first read the post, I admit it took a minute for really set in, and 10 Minutes laters I realize that I am just staring at my screen. I sympathize for everyone up at Finishline, but especially for AK and Sae's mom and Dad. Wish I could get in contact with them. Im sorry this post is all over the place, but that is kind of how I feel at the moment. This day sucks.
MR. 2JZ Kid would probably know. PM Him and ask. My condolences to the good friends and family.
R.I.P
Im not aware of any funeral arrangements yet, if anyone heres anything PLEASE POST UP
man I just got word :( I only met him once when I was taking a look at a Starion shell, and he was willing ot help me out alot - he also laid it down how it was, didn't try to BS ( the other guy did ) but I respected him for laying it out and true -sighs- nobody lasts forever, so may he rest in peace.
On another note, what will become of Finishline?
Mr 2JZ kid
Have you tried getting in contact with Matt or June? Possibly Juan might know something? I know everybody that works their very well, I just dont have any numbers. I tried calling June today and his phone is still on not accepting in comming calls. I also tried to call Steve Kao, he lives with Mike the guy with the Skyline R32, they might know something. If you need Steve Kao's of Junes number, give me a call 678 575 4492. I will not post other peoples numbers on a thread.
They dont know anything yet. We just came back from meeting up at FL. Matt, AK, Tony were at the hospital. Sae's dad called told us to shut down the shop, then we left. His dad took the first flight, so I would think today is more of a shock day then anything else. Im sure they will make plans with in the next 48hrs.
I remember when I took my car to install LSD at finishline and it was only a year ago. I just cant believe this... R.I.P Sae hyung
Kang

Damn - only talked with him a few times. But you know a cool guy when you see one. This kind of stops you in your tracks -you know? Thoughts go out to him, his family, and all who loved him.

We never really got along (imagine that) but you never wish this upon anyone. I was sad to hear the news today when I heard it from Erik Jacobs. I know he was very instrumental in the East Coast drifting and I definately appreciate that.
He was really young and it sucks that his life was so short.
R.I.P.
Rest In Peace.
He was hilarious. And as far as his business is concerned, I kinda think the reason he always "ripped people off", was because everyone else was getting deals from him. (We called him "Uncle Sae") He was such a nice guy... he was always letting people do shit for free at the shop, or hooking them up at a discounted price. FinshLine had a reputation for screwing people over, but it was only because everyone wants something for free. Sae fought to make his business profitable, while still being the shop that everyone was close with. It's hard to sell your various services to your friends, when they expect them all at a discounted rate.Quote:

He was a truly generous, always playful, and caring person. He never once yelled at Harry, or me for doing doughnuts or burnouts in the parking lot. It was like a ritual. If we were going to FinshLine, we were gonna get a little work done on the cars, and get a doughnut or two in without the fear of being arrested.
Damn...
It's eye opening to realize, how much we take, the things, and the people in our lives, for granted, when they're unexpectedly taken.
Rest in peace Sae, you will not be forgotten.
Damn  , Sae was a real cool dude.. Hope he R.I.P, my best wishes go out to his family and friends he will definatly be missed...
I got the call this morning too, didn't believe, I almost called him last night to see how things were going, wish I would have now. Damn
RIP Sae.

Shit man, always sucks to lose one of our own......
RIP.
Hey everyone.
Erik, Marty, and I have spent all day with Tony and Sae's family in mourning. Everyone is very shocked and distraught at the moment as it happened all of the sudden. I'm going to ask everyone to show respect and not to speculate Sae's passing. He has had trouble sleeping for quite some time now and many of you know the effects of poor sleep cycles.
Mike's post on the wake and funeral are accurate as of right now.
I've known Sae personally for almost 12 years now and it's really has affected me. The past 15 hours has felt like a bad dream that has lasted for 15 days. I can't believe that this has happened.. I just saw him at dinner two nights ago.
Just to let you guys know that Sae's race team and shop were huge dreams of his since we were much younger and this is not going to go away.
Hope to see many of you to turn out and say goodbye to Sae. His friends and cars were his life...
That's it for now.
Thanks.

Only met him once and it was just me dropping off a part to him (my job), but RIP man, always sucks when someone leaves this world way too soon.
Its hard to belive that Sae is gone. I had my 240 swaped at finishline, i remeber the first time i heard it crank up with him standing there i was all smiles. Its hard to even wrap my head around the fact thats hes gone. damn. RIP.
Thank you everyone for all the kind words. Me, Tony, Erik, Dave, and everyone just got in for the night. Sae will truly be missed. It feels like forever ago since i got the call this morning with the news. Then my phone and IM were off the hook. Sae was a great person, and always put his friends first. He was the pne that gave me a chance and gave me a car for drifting. I still can't believe all this is happening.
Thank you again,
Marty
i bought my ka24det from him
hilarious guy, knew what he was talking about
my thoughts and condolences go out to all the guys at finish line and his family
my friend bought his car from him monday night, and i had stopped by the shop last saturday
scary to think something like that would happen, especially someone like sae
he got my dad into liking tuner cars..well not a lot, but more than he did before, and thats a feat not even i could pull off.
Sae is a person that makes sure his friends are well cared of.
RIP..
RIP... Sae, was a realy cool guy.
