a cop this morning that was out directing traffic all last night jokingly said, "go ahead and shoot his ass, we won't tell anyone."Originally Posted by Ruiner

I'm just telling you that a blanket statement such as the one that you said isn't completely accurate.Originally Posted by Kevykev
I won't tell you everything about my past (because, frankly, there is a ton), but I will tell you about the most recent event that has involved a gun. I put a gun, a Glock 23 (.40 cal) actually, to the head of a mid-40 yr old bum/vagrant who got into the passenger side of my car at a gas station at 12:30am one night. Would I have shot him had made any sudden movements? Yes. Did I believe that I was about to be robbed or carjacked? Yes. Would I have been legally able to shoot this man? Yes. Did I freak out? No. I was perfectly calm and handled the situation as I had been taught back when I was a teenager. Remember, my father was a judge for ~25 years. In order to get at him, many people wanted to hurt me. I am his oldest son. I have been in situations that would make for a great book.
