everybody knows, whether yoiu car is nice or not, if you are in a booth, you are guarranteed a trophy.

Sell that to Jay Laub.... Jay Laub and BP easily spent the most at this years Nopi Nats on booth space, Neither car placed....RX7 or NSX. Should he have regardless of booth? Well yeah, but it was just a Nopi screw up....like not judging Marshes Eclipse. I also have personally only done 3/9 in booths as far as getting a trophy. You know I got screwed w/ the Si only gettin a second once, nothing else at any point.
As far as the trans am, sux yeah, but it doesnt matter, it wasnt against the eclipse. I see you are saying that judge paid better attn to that class, but that shows it is fair. That whole class had greater attn, yet equal one to another if the same dude judged them all. The afore mentioned eclipse and its class had less, yet prob equal still one to another.
Our judge really looked over Jeffs car, 4-5 diff times, each time he headed straight to the purple H/B in BASF. I'd say the best judging I've seen at Nopi for any class, especially one packed w/ great cars. Would Jeff done that well in the regular lot? cant really say, but I like to think we won because the car is dope, very clean, displayed well, and we earned it..... booth or not.
So in the end, its all hit or miss, like any car show. When there is 7,000, you have to expect it if you are in a small class, or street category. We know they work hardest in the wild classes, and Honda category.
