You could get you a mint 70 Chevelle SS or 68 Camaro SS for that price... So for that budget, I'd say neither. But if I HAD to choose between those 2, I guess the S2000.
S2000... slk230's suck ass man, honestly... Its a total bitch car as well.

S2000, the Merc insurance would be too much to justify it.
But to answer your other question, the ubercharged 4 pulls much much better than the V6. Buddy o mines mom got one. They're pretty nice, but cramped. S2K all the way.
The score is 10-nil in favor of the S2K for those of you keeping score at home...is there a mercy rule in online polling?
i say s2k, sides, aftermarket parts are a hell of a lot cheaper than slk parts
depending on how old you are ... If you are young and single.. the SLK is a pussy dripping faucet.
If you don't care about that... then S2k...

i would go s2000 bc that is more of a car of youth. A lot of people say that slk is a pussy car but i will tell you me and my friend had our fair share of fun in his dads back in the day. Was an 02 kompressor 4cyl supercharged. That thing would move, the system pounded from the factory and it was just a nice car overall. S2000 i have never ridden in or driven but i am looking into one myself in the not to distant future.

Mercedes isnt what it used to be. The cars are built very cheaply.
