The Skyline......."sex on wheels?"

Just wondering why people basically faint or get turned on and call this car "sex on wheels." I don't really see what is so exotic about the car to get this reaction. Don't get me wrong as I think it is a really nice looking car, but goddamn. I just don't see anything out of the ordinary that would make it be a jaw-dropper when you see one. You folks that pitch a tent when you hear the word Skyline, please fill me in on what makes your sac shrivel and explode when you do. Later, QD.

1. It was a holy grail for so long. Loved in Europe and Japan, we could not get Nissans top model.
2. Now that we can import it, rarity. RHD. We might know what it is 99% of the population does now. Talk about a conversation piece.
3. Looks, its a good looking coupe. I prefer the R33 to the R34. Some like the R32.
4. Performance. It lived up to its claims. The reviews in Europe and Japan were full of superlatives. It was the real deal. I've never read anything but a glowing review.
5. Technology. AWD, Atessa, 4 wheel steering, Super-Hicas, TT, etc etc etc
6. Power. The Japanese Gentleman's agreement meant no car could say it had more than 280hp. We know our SUpra TT made 320hp (in Japan, they HAD to say it had 280). The GT-R is closer to 350hp stock.
7. Icon from Grand Turismo for enthusiasts.
8. Can be considered THE Japanese Supercar. People will argue for the NSX. Some the Supra. So its clearly in the top 3 ever made.
9. Mods galore. From making it a simple 500hp car to a 1,000hp one!

yea for reals, i use to feel the same way about supras, but now i see them around here alot more, so its like yea their hot and still KINDA rare, BUT im not super crazy. i see a skyline maybe once every 4-5months so i still kinda have the feeling of sex on wheels if you want to say that, but some of its rubbed off

i feel the same way as u stretch....its juss a hardly seen nissan...wen it gets down to it...its juss a nissan...but every1 here is sayin "the amount of power it can make" u can make ANY car have massive amounts of power...u can make ANY car corner good....personally..i would flip more from seein porsches drive around. Good everyday cars with performance that no one can complain about and the cars look fuckin sexy as shit...in my opinion

well GTR's are the only eye brow raising of them ... and thats just because theres not too many of those here....
Even though GT-rs are "teh h0tness" ... they aren't godly beast machines stock contrary to belief.... lotsa stock cars can own them... in the same price range (by price range i mean cost to you including shipping/legalizing/markup/etc)
Sure the 26's have potential... but so does a 2JZ... or what happened to building a big boosted v8 for cheaper than both..... ...

its all about the rareness.... oh yeah and the awd/rwd thing is in lots of other cars too so dont play that hahaa

skylines are like civics in japan. so people who have civics drool over skylines here.I think its cool car factor most of the times.For me "sex on wheels" is a Pagani Zonda F roadster.
