Just got home from the game. It was fun to watch. George was there also right behind us. It was cool hanging out with ya. Post your pics george, I know you got some amazing ones.
All I know is that I was amazed at DJ Shockley. Some college players become super stars and most fade away. Shockley will def. be a star, he was amazing tonight. They need to get rid of Vick's sorry ass. Maybe Vick would actually help the team if he would man up and quit claiming to get hurt every other game. I think we will see alot of Shockley this season, cause god knows Vick will only play when he feels like it. It was a good game though!!

do you people even bother watching the games? vick is atleast consistent. i've never seen him hit a true slump. schaub on the other hand has had a pretty bad preseason compared to last season having an amazing one.. my point, Vick is consistent and is the money bringer and has gotten us one game from the superbowl.. he'll get us back there no doubt. atleast alot quicker than schaub would... and no offense to shockley, but he isn't starting QB material yet, maybe in a few a years if he stays consistent.

His contract was running out next season and he never had a chance at being a starting RB here, so it was in both parties best intrest to let him go. He will do MUCH better in Washingtons scheme than he could of done in Atlanta system. Our O-line is set to cut block, which is for much speedier/juking backs, not for dead ahead rammers like him. I love Duckett, but he'll be better off as a Redskin.
The only real competition in the NFC south is just Carolina... TB and the 'Aints aren't gonna do nothin' this year. As long as Vick has 83 to throw to and a few running lanes, and the defense stays healthy and lives up to there pro-bowl experience, there's no doubt that we aren't gonna atleast make it to the NFC title game.
The problem with the Falcons last year wasn't with the offense not putting enough points on the board, it was with the defense letting the other team put too many points on the board. The Falcons scores from last regular season "14,18,24,30,28,34,27,17,25,27,27,6,33,6,24,11 " thats a pretty offensive season. we just got outscored.

They looked good last night considering NO STARTERS even played, and Jackonsville had thiers in. Held them t a 3 point game. Shockly is gonna be a great QG, That man has alot of Vicks style in him.
