    I read in PC magazine, I think, that hd dvd players were in the $400-500's now, and that blueray was in the $1000's. Maybe, I misread that article.

    You might be right. I haven't kept up, honestly, and won't until they agree on a standard.

    Agreed, personally I'm for Blueray, cause I'll be getting a ps3 anyway haha.
