    DNA proves missing Austrian girl's ID By GEORGE JAHN, Associated Press Writer
    Fri Aug 25, 7:41 AM ET



    VIENNA, Austria - Police said Friday that DNA tests prove that a young woman who turned up in a small town outside Vienna this week is the same woman who vanished eight years ago as a 10-year old while walking to school.

    The announcement was made at a news conference called to give new details of the investigation into the disappearance of Natascha Kampusch and her discovery Wednesday in Strasshof, the small town where she said she was held by an abductor.

    pretty simple guy prolly suffered from a bad child hood ..
    couldnt have kids so he turned crazy ..
    he then kidnapped a girl so he can have sexual pleasures and raise her ..
    she turned 18 and he got bored and decided to take his life ..

    ...i just dont understand how someone could get away with having a little girl in their basement for 8 years without anyone knowing about it....crazy.

    it wouldve been harder to get away with that in the US...
