The first picture shows how bad the damage was. The axel literally snapped in HALF!!! Then you can see, i had to strip it completely down to do the suspension work. Once that was complete I carefully laid the body back on the car and all is well now.

Oh and i want to thank miranda for insisting on paying the $6.00 bill for parts but i just couldn't have you fork out that kind of money on something that wasn't even yours and was clearly an accident...

Heh, luckily i had a spare chasis with all the parts i needed :). I just got it a few days ago from a guy that works up at hoby town. I was going to buy another one and brought it to him to get it runnin but then found out that he was selling his touring car that he used to race for the same price i was going to buy the other one for. I'm waiting on a stronger starter box so i can get it started more easily since it's a high compression high power engine...

Looks like we might need to get a meet together to run our cars :). Find a big parking lot and set up some cones for a corse and have a race!!! :-D

Anyways, I was totally kicking this thing all over this parking lot. I got air a few times and had it close to 50mph AT LEAST! I took a turn a little too fast and the damn nitro car wouldn't quite make it. So, I knicked the pole. :eek:
