    Dogs are the best home defense by far. I have 3 guns, but my 2 150lb rotts keep the house safe. I know from a "prior life" that a 100lb pitt is much more intimidating than a gun...
    If you would have walked out side with a pistol, they prolly would have drawn back, and then it's a standoff. But nobody wants to risk getting mauled by a pit...
