Ok so i just dropped my tranny off to get rebuilt for my new motor, they're like 150 bux plus parts... so i'm like wowzer... good deal. So i figure i'd need about 300 bux in parts, etc... Well they call back today and give me a 750$ estimate... i'm like so now i'm at a standstill. I didn't tell him no, but I didnt say yes either. I told him i'd call back.

I dont know what I should do? I can get a used tranny from the junkyard for 200 bux, but It might be just as bad as mines. Hrm... i'm wondering what I should do.

I asked the guy if i can order my own parts (www.drivetrain.com) he gets pissed like you dont go to waffle house and bring your own eggs... lolol...pwnd

but why the fuck are they raping on parts prices.
