I have H.I.Ds, and can get them locally too
Collins, Ive ran X5 Brand HIDs for almost two years with no problems , and Im still on original ballasts and bulbs. Just search ebay for that brand.
Also Osram is a good brand as well however higher in price.
preesch g!
@sunlight
mainstream has a supplier that they get hids from, i think it's around $200 for a kit. a lot of ppl around use them so i'm sure u can get some feedback on them.

The only ones you want are Hella, Philips, and Osram.

OEM!!!!!!!!!! Philips, Hella. and Osram....... Do a HID projector retrofit.... so you can have nicer, brighter hids.. and you wont blind the crap out of other drivers with all the glare of aftermarket HID kits....
theres a local company on ebay, and u can pick it up in lawrenceville. i forgot the name of their store, but they have tons of hid stuff for sale. u will eventually find them, just look for the lawrenceville, ga location. i bought my ballast, and went and picked it up same day

1. if coming from dowtown area go i-85N to 316.
2. Get off at sugarloaf parkway exit.
3. make a left on the Sugarloaf.
4. At 2nd light make a RIGHT (first available right) onto Lakes Blvd (i think that's the name) either way it's 2nd light make a right.
5. Go about half a mile or so down and it's on the left
6. pull into the complex and veer right around to the rear of the buildling and it's like the last one on the left. Premier Tek Global
