    haha i had the same thing happen to me... one of my friends came across it and i didn't even have myspace at the time... but that's why i joined... i kept telling her to take my pictures off of her page (which were from when i was like 14 or 15) i have no idea where she found them... but she finally took them off when i told her identity theft is a crime i would have been flattered if her profile hadn't been so stupid...

    i think it all depends on what you use it for... if you spend hours chatting with/looking for people that you don't know and will never meet then yeah... kinda pointless - esp since you don't know who you are REALLY dealing with in the first place. But I use it to keep in touch with friends since now i've already graduated, i'm married, and have a kid... i hardly have any people on my "friends list" that i don't know personally. i think it's great as long as you're not using it like some of these 14 and 15 year old girls that end up meeting pervs and vice versa. i really think girls use it a lot more than guys since we like to talk to all of our little girl friends on there and post our pictures and all that. just my opinion
