Need help with ant problem
so i have ants...alot in my apartment. Anyone know a good way to get rid of them for good? Im starting to throw away all the food they got into. I dont have any raid so i've been spraying them with air freshner and squishing them with my shoe. Will the smell of coffe grounds make them go away? im about to go get some raid, but anyone else know of something that has worked for you? They are in my bathroom and at the other end of my room where my food is.

i had the same problem when we lived in an apt... we lived on the 3rd floor as well... lots of ants. now we just have a shitload of them in our house... it sucks with a baby wanting to crawl all over the place... i just try to vacuum and spray raid along the base boards... but they're in places that have absolutely no food or water - they're just there

Most stores have a Ant Thing that attracts them to it they eat it and die. Worked for us when they where coming int hrough the window stuck on there, by the next day the thing was solid black with ants then within a week they where all dead!!!!!

cinamin (spell) is what we used and it worked amazingly! just the powder or the sticks whereever possible and the scent was so strong it scared them i guess...

Ey just spray the small cracks or the line that they come from. Doing that disturbs the trail they set up. They use some sort of chemicals to line that path so during the time they get food or what not and something come in the midst of the path they have that chemical to find their way back/or to the food. Pretty crazy stuff those ants do.
Go to home depot or somewhere and get that home defense bug spray shit. It works and keeps them away for six months or so.

Those dont work, we tried at my house.
Sevendust FTW! We finally had to have an exterminator come out and spray it all over the siding of the house and along all of the baseboards but we're ant free. They wont even come to an open coke can on the front porch.

had the same problem when i lived in the dorms one yr. here's how to take care of it the right way:
1) clean ur place up, like really
2) make sure anything that contains any sort of food is SEALED
3) set up multiple ant traps, little black things where they go in, get some shit and carry it back to where they come from
4) sit back and wait, ur problem should be taken care of in about a week
When I was about 7 years old, my neighbors dad poured gasoline into an ant pile and made a "trail" like in the cartoons. He set it on fire and I remember the earth feeling like it was shaking. Nonetheless, a large explosion occurred and I remember dirt and grass flying all over the place. Good Times.
