    Default Satellite or cable?

Which one? I know the problems with the Dish and rain and storms and such. But what else? What are your preferences? As far as cost goes:

Comcast: Basic cable - $45/month for 70 channels
Dish: Basic package - $36/month for 60 channels(I don't even watch the 10 less channels, and I would watch a few of the channels the Dish has that Comcast doesn't)

    Later, QD.

When you do digital, I know it's a little different per company, like i'd be with Charter. But the digital boxes, do you lease them? and you need one box per tv right? how much does it cost?

^^^ With Comcast, you do not pay extra a month for the boxes. Also, you will need a box for each TV. I think if you get more than one box, you will pay for the extra box(es). Later, QD.

Dish, unless you do a internet, ohone, and cable deal, then you get fastass internet, local phone, and cable for aroun $100 a month. However we had it and got rid of it cause the cable would shut off if the internet was on and vice versa.(only sometimes though, like 2-3 times a month)

Im about to sign up for this deal as soon as I move into the new home...

I have Comcast and it kicks ass. My parents got this package back in 01 which included TV, Internet, and phone service for only 99 bucks a month. we still have it, seems cheap as shit to me... I used to have the dish but dish + rain/ wind/ almost any thing else = no TV.

I'm moving in June and the complex only gets dish network. Which sucks, I like comcast digital cable. But apts are strange like that, one service provider gets a monopoly on the complex. So you have no choice, except listening to your radio if you don't want to use them, lol.
