There's only a handful of cars ever made that can't benefit from upgraded suspension...this isn't one of them. The main thing is budget, plan, and goals for it?
He can do what he wants, just like any civic owner on Buford Hwy. can do what they want....whether it's right or not or even looks good to anyone else doesn't matter, it's what he wants but it wouldn't hurt to show him good examples of cleanly done rides.
As for the SC430, it looks like a beached whale and there's not a whole lot of aftermarket support for it. 19" HRE's with a clean ICE install and it's good to go.
