I was hella surprised at the lack of police presence. Usually they patrol up and down Spring St and one passes by like every 30 seconds or so, and they pull over all kinds of idiots. People were doing burnouts sitting at the fucking light right there. When I looped back around and got on 85, there was a huuuuuge cloud of smoke coming down onto 85 N from the V, and it reeked of burnt rubber. Like, any cop passing on 85 woulda known what was up. Last time I went, a few mos. ago, cops were crawling around there, pulling people over, impounding cars, the whole deal. I don't know where they were last night, but they really needed to be there. Keeps stupid people to a minimum.
