give them a "probationary" period having access to General Forums and Offtopic

Wouldnt that be self defeating? They wouldnt ever be able to get 30 posts if they cant post :blah:

I'd definately restrict the F/S sections from anybody with less than 150-200 posts, that way they've been around long enough to at least get a reputation as someone who would be easy to deal with or not when buying/selling.

yeah i know but i couldn't figure out how to get in there and so i turned down old roswell and then turned down warsaw and ended up on holcomb bridge, and then ended up on old alabama and almost started crying because i didn't know where i was...it was very stressful.

As you can see I am a straight-outa-the-box noob, and all of yall sayin at lest 100 and 150 post already have 9,999,991 posts. i mean well shit I don't post that much cuz I'm tryin' to learn as much as I can about all different types of imports. I say noobs can't sell for 3 months and 50 post, NOT which ever comes first. they can only reply in F/S and same goes for links. and all that other shit about posting in certain forums. But thats just me.

i do agree with the three month AND 50 post thing because i still see people in FS threads that have been here a year or two and have like 8 posts and because they been here over three months, we have to let it slide. If you cant find time to post more than hmmm....50 posts in a year, you shouldnt be selling here either
