Wahoo!!
So, I planned a trip about a month ago for my boyfriend (now ex) myself, and some others to go to Boca Raton (South Beach, Miami, etc.)... Well, when we broke up, of course I cancelled(more of his friends were going than mine, actually none of mine were going). My roommate dates his roommate so she, of course, was still going and taking her best friend, Michelle (which is also a very good friend of mine, naturally). Well, their plane left at 11:36 pm. My roommate, her boyfriend, my ex and one other guy got on the plane. Michelle called and said she'd have to reschedule for today (Friday). Now keep in mind, this trip is all-expense paid (the round-trip flight, the hotel, food, drinks, night club admission and the rental car).. Michelle reschedules her flight for this morning at 11:44 am.
So, I'm going to get lunch and pass Michelle (at 12:24 pm):confused: I called her to see what happened and she says, "Oh, I just decided not to go, and they'll just have to get over it."I was floored. I just said, "okay". So, I called my roommate and said, "Did you and Michelle get in a fight or what?" She says, "no, we're on our way to pick her up from the airport.
" I was like, "Umm, you might wanna turn around, I just passed her driving through Gainesville.." *Holds phone away from ear!* She was soooo pissed she could have come through the phone and killed Michelle.
So, I told her to tell Chad to book another flight, I would give him the $400 upon my arrival, and I would take Michelle's place... Hey, I mean, would you pass up a free vacation? I know I'm not going to...
I had a ton of stuff to do this weekend (concerts, parties, six flags, etc.) but I'm going to Florida instead!!!
Would you have done the same?
