A couple of things stick out in my mind with this thread. I dont think 6 figures necessarily equals happiness in most cases, I know people who make that much and barely live paycheck to paycheck.. spending habits are more of a concern than actual salary. Also look for something that you enjoy doing and do well, trust me you will be successful if you are persistent and enjoy it that much.
I make a good amount to be 26 but honestly I do not love my job and would gladly take a paycut for something I enjoy doing which is why I am pursuing entrepreneurship. Have you considered trying your own business? It may not be instant wealth but the gratification you get from writing your own paycheck is second to none. Shoot me an instant message or pm sometime and we can chat, I have business ideas pop in my head at the least twice a day.
im not trying to make more money to be happy, i want to buy more car parts and got plans and i need money to get things done. i know money dnt make u happen, i jst dnt like tight budgets and im not scared to work.
i thought about my own biz and to an extent i was there but..thats a long story. im getting motivated to do it again but theres alot of ppl that are trying to keep me from doing it, ALOT. biz is saturated as well. ill definitely send u a pm in a few.

Yes, but do you have an engineering degree?titles really mean nothing... there are tons of PHD, Dr, Lawyer, and engineer that don't make 100+k... shit my title is software engineer,
Titles mean nothing, but degrees do.
Engineering is the highest paying job out of college on average.
But it all depends on how good of a worker you are. If you get a degree, and are a good worker, you'll easily break the 100k barrier.
If you don't get a degree, but you are a good worker, you can still make good money and in some instances break into the 100k bracket.
And whoever said sometimes experience is better, is right, but it takes a lot more time getting experience that would equal a degree.

Is not easy, you just have to bust ass. Pretty Soon I will be in the 6 figures with my real job... But is/will be alot of work. but I like what I do.
If I throw what IA.com brings in, Im over 6 figures.
But IA.com money goes right back into the Site.. So I get nothing out of it, Maybe a few beers here and there.
like Justunez said.. STAY in one place.. A good company w/ good future and potential in growing.. Not changing jobs every 3 month. Im 27, Only 2 jobs in my life so far.
College Drop out... I think 2 jobs is good.
If you do not pursue college then find something you like to do. The money is out there especially in sales and retail. But is not easy.
Another thing I learned through the years.. Some people dont take work seriously.
your SECURE JOB should be your #1 priority or right there with your family.
Alot of people dont care and are simply happy the way they live.
The Higher you go the more is expected out of you.. I am responsible for close to $2 million in sales every month and keeping 20 employees happy.
My next position the responsibilty multiplies by 10... Wont be easy, But I will be ready.
