    topped my 13 year old car w/ stock motor at 129mph on I-75 near Barret parkway.

    Passenger in a 3 series 2002 bmw and topped at 142mph.

    not calling anyone out in particular, but how is it that a few of you in here that posted, posted up speeds higher than your speedo reads?? and if that speed WERE true, how do you know it was that fast?? like the other day some guy at my friends house said he did 140 in a ef...uh, i though those only registered at 120 on the speedo. there are two posts in particular in here that i have noticed have said MPH's over speedo registry....

    i just want to know how someone does "190 in a sOOpra" when the speedo pegs at 180?? not that theres a difference once its that high but theres a few others in here that dont make since either with the MPH and gearing either, even if the speedo said 300

    benn in excess of 130mph. different cars that i've owned. my current "newtome" has a limit of 110 and the though i've seen 105 in it, can't get any faster, yet. it's still stockerssssssssss(damn 240sx, just kidding, u bitch about a car it'll fuck up on you...sorry boo-boo!) my old '96 5spd 626 v6 had a top speed of 140mph i was nearly at the final posted numbers b4 i backed off the gas. plus i was in dekalb on i-20, i dont fuck with dekalb like that.

    hit 110 in the new 2000 ex coupe and had nothing left(85 south right before highway 20...downhill)
    about 109 in the 88 hatch(4 speed and wound OUT downhill on 85 south between hamilton milll and hwy 20 exit)
    ~130 in my old eclipse on the way home...coming off 285 onto 85 then slowed cause no tag or insurance at the time
