your take on street racing...?

hmmm... I think that street racing is ok, if the location is out of the way where there are no people and that all the idiots are kicked out. What about mountain runs?? Aren't those forms of street racing?? Yet nobody knocks them.

What is funny is that you probably don't think the racing isn't organized either.

Cars go ahead to look for cops, cars stay back to keep traffic slowed down.

It isn't like, just go drive around looking for stoplights and race...

I agree Matt, street racing can be organized and setup to be as safe as possible, although the act itself isn't ..

I do it whenever I get the chance. It's a totally different experience from going to a track. On the street, you have to judge which people you want to challenge/accept challenges from based on what mods you can see/hear on a car. More interesting to see these types of races where people bring out sleepers and cars made for just this type of racing. Line up...and go....track days are ok, but a far drive and like I said, a different experience.

I totally agree, its a totally different experience on the streets compared to at the track. People that street race know the risks they are taking and for the most part keep it as safe as possible for everyone around them. I do agree that is dangerous and there are many risks but its just something about it that gets one hooked.

I'll admit that I do race on the streets often and lately I've been meaning to slow down on that, especially cause I'm working on a case I have with Cobb County, me getting arrested for speeding/reckless driving ..
