Thread: Sooo.. My '05 STi has mismatched VIN plates.

    So the DASHES are good... only that plate? (meaning dashes are the same color, etc). I am unsure why a snap-in plate is Mitubishi's answer to ensuring which dash belongs in which vehile... seems that simply removing or swapping the plates is WAY too easy of a way to get away w/ murder. Is the vin stamped in another place on the dash as well? But hey, Mitsubishi didn't ask me.

    .........this car is a SUBARU. not a mitsubishi. she said her and Classic's STI's not Evo's.
